Although the Campus Chronicle underwent several design incarnations over the course of the school year, the one presented here, the last, best captures my intent for the site: a simple, clean design that arranges information in large, obvious blocks. Like the print medium of the Campus Chronicle, I used a nearly monochromatic palatte--in part because images were already in grayscale. This design was one of my first to depend heavily on stylesheets for accurate presentation. The site was updated manually biweekly, without the aid of a content management system, something that I would recommend in the future to simplify the process.
